Welcome to this month's update of newly released features. This month we bring you a new AI-powered CSV importer to make running payroll faster and easier. We also have a new video explaining our AI garnishments automation. Also, we now verify SSNs in onboarding. And in non-AI related products, we now offer Instant Pay in general availability, A/R Routing is available in the Dashboard, and we have new earning components and deductions.
Smart CSV Importer - We’ve launched an AI-powered CSV Importer so you can upload any type of work data —regardless of format. Whether you’re tracking hours, bonuses, or custom job types, the importer automatically maps columns, flags errors, and gets your data payroll-ready in seconds. Ideal for teams juggling multiple templates or pulling files from different systems. Learn more.
Instant Pay (General Availability) - For a small fee, let workers get paid instantly to their existing debit card. No new accounts, no friction. They get fast access to cash, you unlock a new revenue stream.
A/R Routing in the Dashboard - Previously only available from the API, now you can set up A/R Routing from the Dashboard. Use your client’s bank account to directly fund payroll straight from the Zeal dashboard—freeing up your capital for growth, not float. Still using payroll funding? Offer customers a discount smaller than your funding fees. They save. You profit.
New Earnings Components - Zeal now supports Meal and Rest Break Premiums, automatically handling premium pay when required breaks aren’t provided. Whether it’s a missed 30-minute meal or a 10-minute rest break, we calculate these premiums correctly—no manual overrides or compliance risk. Learn more.
CalSavers Deductions - CalSavers is now a native deduction type. Automatically withhold employee contributions, apply the right rules, and stay compliant with California’s retirement mandate. Learn more.

SSN verification - We now automatically validate workers Social Security Numbers in onboarding. This operations automation helps prevent typos, catch fraud, and reduces onboarding delays. It’s a simple way to tighten compliance.
